Lyna Dinh

Biography

Lyna Dinh is a second-year radiation oncology physics resident. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in Biophysics and attended the University of Pennsylvania where she received her MS in Medical Physics in 2025. She is interested in radiopharmaceuticals and educational initiatives. Originally from Garden Grove, California, Lyna enjoys puzzles, crocheting, and going to natural history museums.

Treatment planning, radiobiology, brachytherapy

Why did you choose to come to UW?

I chose to come to UW because amazing team of physicists that have made strides in the field. I hope to learn from them to become a better medical physicist!

Favorite thing to do in Madison?

I enjoy hiking and sightseeing. The greenery is beautiful!

Fun fact about yourself or things you like to do for fun?

I like to go to natural history museums. I love the dinosaurs!
